AI-Based Structure Laboratory with ANalytical Thinking (ASLAN)

The laboratory belongs to the Department of Naval Architecture & Offshore Engineering of the Dong-A University.

The main focus of the studies done in the laboratory is to develop techniques for assessing structural safety by AI approach with various applications such as ship and offshore structures, offshore wind farm, artic application and civil engineering.

ASLAN also provides following technical advisory services.

• Technical advisory service for LNG tank application
• Technical due diligence of offshore wind farm development
• Technical assist on Type/Project Certification for onshore/offshore wind farm applications
• RISK assessment of offshore plants, offshore renewable energy applications
• Technical assistance for ice-ship interaction application
